The high percentage of wind musicians suffering lip problems and the difficulty that represents to put in evidence the origin of its complains had take us, in the last years, to develop, in collaboration with Fundació Ciència i Art, a series of new tools.

This work allows us to have new apparatuses, designed and developed specifically for the Institute, that can, for example, measure the force and the endurance of the mouth muscles or to visualize how the vibration of the lip in brass instruments takes place.

These set of tools conforms our Wind Laboratory, an equipment that is helpful for the diagnosis, the treatment and the follow-up of the problems of this musicians.
