The equipment of the Institut, at a human level and also as technician, allows a fast, complete, individualized, and specialized attention for artists directed to avoid, as far as possible, to restrain or to stop their professional careers or studies trying to prevent possible relapses or new problems. For this reason, when a patient comes to the Institut, we don not only try to diagnose an treat the problem that affects to him/her at that moment (it can be chronic or acute) but we also analyzes all the possible concurrent causes and we put all the necessary services to correct them (postural problems or relaxation problems, bad warming, physical fitness, etc.). In
order to guarantee a complete attention, in addition to professionals
with long-term experience treating performing artists, the Institut
has the most modern apparatuses to be able to carry out it. Thus, on
the one hand, we had specialists in arts medicine, orthopedic surgery
and traumatology, hand surgery, sports medicine, physiotherapy, neurology,
speech therapy, psychiatry and psychology, nutrition, ophtalmology,
dermatology, and maxillary surgery. On
the other hand, in addition to the conventional diagostic and therapeutic
systems, we also use different specialized tools as high resolution
ultrasound scan, electromiography, stroboscope, voice analyzer, biofeedback,
lip's power medition and electrostimulation, or MIDI analizer system.
