Lindy Hop

Pep Espígol

Dancer of lindy hop and other dances of the swing family. Teacher

The fact that the Institute specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of specific injuries to dancers means that the solution to a pathology is not simply "stop dancing" as I have heard at other centers.

When a professional is injured, they seek to heal without leaving their activity. The Institute takes this condition into account and seeks a way to satisfy it.

I have found very individualized treatment there. The personal treatment that the physiotherapists have given me in each session is of enormous quality. And this further magnifies the professional treatment. They have been able to adapt not only to my injury, but also to the intensity that I needed.

I am a person who needs to understand things. At the Institute, the diagnoses and procedures were explained to me in a very transparent way, adapted to my knowledge and in a very didactic way.

I have always been explained the scenario, the different options, the risks, the advantages... and the real possibilities of success. I find this very honest and basic in the doctor-patient relationship.

We earn our living with our hands, feet, arms, legs, back, knees, elbows... it's worth it for those who understand to tell us if we're doing it right. We often mistreat our bodies because we don't follow good habits. At the Institute you can learn these habits so that we, dance professionals, can avoid injuries and extend our activity for many years!
